Mini Book Haul | March 2021

So much happened within the month of March! One of the things I did was buy books (shocker)! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t always buy books – they can be expensive and I already have so many eBooks on my iPad from my local library.

I don’t buy books every single month but this month just so happened to be a book-buying one. Without further ado, here are the books I got this month:

  • An Ember In The Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
  • Queen Of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas
  • Empire Of Storms by Sarah J. Maas
  • Furyborn by Claire Legrand
  • A Heart So Fierce And Broken by Brigid Kemmerer

When will I start reading these?

I probably won’t be getting to any of these anytime soon because there are a bunch of library books I want to get through first, then around 3 eARCs to review, and then 2 more personal book reviews to do. After all of those, I’ll be able to start these.

Which of these books am I most excited to read?

Hmm that’s a hard question. Obviously I bought them because I have a lot of interest in all of them but realistically I will probably read Queen Of Shadows first because I’m going through the Throne Of Glass series and that’s the next book! Generally, I try to finish series before starting a new one (but sometimes this is hard). Next, I’d read A Heart So Fierce And Broken (again, to continue the series I started).

Not sure what it is but I want to read it still.

An Ember In The Ashes and Furyborn both fit under this category. I know almost nothing about them other than the fact that they’re YA Fantasy. I feel like sometimes that’s enough for me to like the book hahaha anyone relate?

I can’t wait to start reading them! Which one of these books have you already read and which are on your TBR? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. I don’t purchase books unless I’ve already read them, love them, and know I’ll read them again, which makes me very different from most book bloggers haha! BUT my exception was with An Ember in the Ashes, which I purchased a few months back. I found a pristine copy for only $2 and couldn’t believe my luck. I read it this past month and it was really good. I hope you enjoy it 🙂

    1. Yes! It can be so disappointing to buy a book and then realize you don’t enjoy it. I tend to do a lot of research before buying books but it can still happen. So glad to hear you loved it and got it for $2? Wow!

  2. I’ve been meaning to read An Ember In The Ashes for SO LONG! I have it on my kindle but I’ve not got around to reading it yet! I’ve heard such great things though!
