Monthly Wrap-Up | August 2021

August was a month of craziness – just like other months, but also unlike other months. What do I mean?

This was my break month – teaching was finally finished and it’s summer break! I thought I would get a lot more reading done this month but I ended up doing a lot less because I needed the time to do the things that I usually wouldn’t have time for. I never really put pressure on myself to finish lots of books because I read for enjoyment anyway so it’s not a big deal.

Here are some things that happened this month:

  • Bought a home with my soon to be fiance!!
  • Worked a lot more on my WIP (work in progress) aka my novel
  • Spent time taking care of my sick grandpa
  • Attended my best friend’s wedding
  • Cooked dinner a lot more

Here’s an overview of the books I read this month:

Since I was on vacation from work this month, I also gave myself a little bit of a break from my regular posting schedule of two posts per week and posted once per week. Starting this month, I’ll be back to my regular posting schedule.
