Unfortunately I am currently CLOSED to Advance Reading Copies and Review Copies of physical books and eBooks until further notice due to a high volume of book review requests accepted. I plan on accepting requests again soon so keep checking for updates!
My rating system is on a scale of 1-5 stars, including halves:
1 star – Did not enjoy it, was not engaged, would not recommend it
2 stars – There were parts I enjoyed but overall, I didn’t enjoy it, probably won’t recommend it
3 stars – It was okay, good plot but lacking in some parts, might recommend it
4 stars – Pretty good, would recommend it
5 stars – Wow, it was amazing! Definitely recommend it
My reviews are strictly my own opinions on the book. All reviews will include a star rating, and an honest, thorough review that will be posted on this blog, Goodreads, and on my Twitter. 5 star ratings may also be recommended at the library of the school I work at.
If you would like me to review your book, please send an email request to andreasbkcorner@gmail.com and I will respond to your request within 48 hours. Please allow at least a month for me to read the book, review it, and post the review online. I will not be able to accept all requests, but I will definitely try my best to. If I do decline, it is not because I don’t want to review it, but mostly likely because I do not currently have the time to.
I enjoy reviewing books from the following YA genres:
- Fantasy
- Romance
- Historical
- Contemporary
- Sci-Fi
- Retellings
- Thriller/Mystery
- Dystopian
If the book you would like me to review does not fit into any of the above genres, you can still email me a request and I will decide whether or not I will review it.
However, I will not review books from the following genres:
- Horror
- Non-fiction
- Erotica
In your requests, please include:
- Name of your novel
- Your name
- A summary of your novel
- The genre that your novel is written in
- The format you wish to provide your book in
Lastly, I love reading books and am honored that you would consider me to review your book. I am a high school teacher/librarian and know about the importance of reading. I hope to find new books that can positively affect younger learners in today’s society.
